General Motors-SPO Division
International Sales Conference, 2000
Attendees: 650 Sales
Directors from 15 countries, CEO, EVP and Directors of Marketing Worldwide
Meeting Theme: One Global Aftermarket, One Common GM Mission
Meeting Objective: The planner said, "These guys have seen everything, done and sold everything.
We've got them for one very long day. Keep them awake, alert and wrap the speaker's themes into your program."
The Result: The Juggling Matrix built its full-day program around the concepts of 'juggling customer
relationships with GM's corporate objectives,' 'to keep the balls in the air with new global partners,' and 'build a new network of suppliers.'
The Common GM Key Mission was acted out through the experience of juggling 3 balls in partner pairs and 15 balls in groups of 10. By working
together, all goals were achieved.
